Why Team Up?
We want to set the example of how people living in harmony can achieve so much more! We come from different backgrounds, cultures, racial origins and religions but, instead of seeing that as being detrimental, we have respect for one another and for the diverse cultures that have joined together to make our country the beautiful mosaic that it is! We also look at the many ideals which we have in common, such as the right to raise our children in a community where the individual is respected and valued regardless of the cultural community from which they come; where it is safe to walk on the streets; where there are work opportunities for those who are able to work and where there is consideration for those who are unable to work; where our environment is treated with respect; where we have adequate transit opportunities; and where we don’t saddle the next generation with a burdensome debt. If we are willing to set aside our differences for the sake of building a better community, we are the winners! As we work together in unity, we will achieve so much more for our community!
